salesforce.com integration 
Webcom, Inc. has teamed with salesforce.com to offer an
integrated, Web-based Configuration, Pricing and Quotation
solution, which has the ability to automatically engineer,
configure, price, quote and if desired, order products and
services on-line.
Upon entering the WebSource solution, all data accessible though
salesforce.com's API can be used to populate WebSource quotation
and proposal fields.
After engineering, configuring and pricing a product or service,
the results can then be saved into various fields within the
salesforce.com's CRM application.
Some of the integration advantages include:
- One point of entry (single url address) for creating and managing
all sales opportunities for existing or prospective clients
- Create engineering, pricing, quotations and proposals in WebSource
and save them in salesforce.com "Opportunities"
- Ability to generate a quotation in a MS Word or PDF document in
WebSource and attach the document into salesforce.com
- Ability to access and modify all saved quotations and proposals
and access 24 hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days per year
- Seamlessly transfer data from salesforce.com into WebSource (i.e.
customer contact, billing info, currency, shipping information, etc.)
- Easily add new products to pricebook when product doesn't
currently exist in salesforce.com
- As WebSource seamlessly integrates with salesforce.com, client
specific integration touch points are easily addressed
- Because WebSource is browser-based just like salesforce.com, there
is no extra software to load on your PC or laptop. No software that
must be administered or kept up to date.
